Destination Wedding at Château Renaissance

Destination Wedding at Château Renaissance

Tucked away in the majestic forests of the Loire Valley in France sits the dreamy Château Renaissance, a 15th century castle and classified historic monument. This editorial shoot, captured by Oliver Fly Photography, was featured in Dear Gray Magazine and embodies everything a French destination wedding should be: elegant, refined and romantic.

For this magical day, an intimate ceremony was set in front of the prestigious and unique architecture of the chateau. The Monsieur and Madame stood on an old staircase lined with our pillar candles in Cafe Au lait overlooking the gorgeous castle and all its historic beauty.

The romantic atmosphere continued into the reception with an enchanted tablescape featuring stunning florals, inspired by a pretty color palette of pastel tones. Our towering taper candles in Cafe Au Lait blend in beautifully and provide just the right touch of romance.

Photographer Oliver Fly said, “The dinner table was set up in the squared courtyard where the privileged classes used to parad. Surrounded by Montaigne chairs, the extremely elegant design of the table is adorned with silver dinnerware and an exquisite collection of fine silver candlesticks surrounded by stunning floral centerpieces.”

To top it all off, this fairy-tale shoot had a fairy-tale ending. The couple took a magical getaway after the ceremony into an enchanted forest in a Jaguar MK2 Classic car from 1967.
