Autumn comes just once a year. But amid the dramatic red rock formations and lush evergreen shades of Sedona, AZ, the captivating colors of the changing season are set for eternity in stone.
And this natural wonder formed the breathtaking backdrop for one of our favorite wedding shoots of 2024.
The tablescape, composed by wedding designer Leona Morelock, featured a pure-white table linen delicately dressed with spray roses, peach germini, and lisianthus. And dotted in between, rippling outward from a central peak, was an array of our tallest luxury taper candles.
This wedding shoot took place at the Sedona Hilton at Bell Rock, the iconic bell-shaped butte Arizona’s high desert. Between the awe-inspiring rocks, deep orange dust, and verdant floral, the resort offered an oasis of tranquility within a shaded grove of light-green trees and bushes.
The table itself juxtaposed the powerful colors of the surrounding landscape with tranquil white cloths and dinnerware, accompanied by polished gold cutlery and colorful flowers. Among them were a selection of extra-tall tapers, mainly traditional Black and Ivory with Terra Cotta blended throughout to add depth and texture.
The tallest of these candles sat in the center. And as the display spread outwards, heights gradually diminished to create a flowing pyramid effect. Our monochrome taper candles of varying widths and heights sat at the head and foot of the table, complementing the delicate pillars with their air of weight and presence.
