From the Workshop

Every taper that leaves our Kansas City workshop is built by hand, one dip at a time. There are no molds, no shortcuts — just a process that has remained largely unchanged since we opened in 1961. The result is a candle with a density and finish that machine-made products simply cannot replicate.

How It Burns

Inspired by the quiet stillness of a late autumn evening, this layered palette brings depth and warmth to any setting without tipping into heaviness. Soft Sage, Highland Mist, and Espresso move together in easy contrast, casting a rich, grounded glow that settles a room. Each 12" taper is hand-dipped 25–30 times to achieve its classic silhouette and smooth matte finish, shaped naturally by gravity rather than molded edges. Our proprietary wax blend ensures a slow, even burn that is smokeless and dripless when used in proper conditions.
