Every taper that leaves our Kansas City workshop is built by hand, one dip at a time. There are no molds, no shortcuts — just a process that has remained largely unchanged since we opened in 1961. The result is a candle with a density and finish that machine-made products simply cannot replicate.

How It Burns

The performance of a taper candle comes down to the wax formulation and the wick. Our proprietary blend has been refined over decades to burn cleanly and evenly, with no dripping and no smoke — even in a light draft. The self-trimming cotton wick means there is nothing to manage once the candle is lit.
