The Set Table: Deck the Halls is a designer-curated tablescape in Metallic Gold, Crimson, Hunter Green and White. The colors were chosen to sit together, so the set is ready to place as it arrives. It is made for Christmas dinner and the gatherings around it. A pair of 12" tapers gives the arrangement its height, and three pillars in different sizes fill in around them.

  • One pair of 12" Metallic Gold taper candles, 7/8" diameter
  • One Crimson classic pillar, 4" diameter by 4" tall
  • One Hunter Green classic pillar, 3" diameter by 6" tall
  • One White petite pillar, 2" diameter by 3" tall
  • Hand-crafted in small batches from our proprietary wax blend

From the Workshop

From the Workshop

Every taper that leaves our Kansas City workshop is built by hand, one dip at a time. There are no molds, no shortcuts — just a process that has remained largely unchanged since we opened in 1961. The result is a candle with a density and finish that machine-made products simply cannot replicate.

Each pillar is held to an open flame for thirty seconds after forming. That step closes the surface, deepens the color, and produces the matte finish we are known for. No mechanical equivalent exists.

  • The Dip25–30 individual hand-dips build each taper, layer by layer
  • The FlameEach pillar is held to an open flame for thirty seconds after forming
  • The WaxA proprietary wax blend, refined over 60+ years in Kansas City
